I am having trouble getting getting the EAZY READER to play on my television?
Try this trick - Plug in either a VCR or a DVD player into your TV. Tune your TV to the channel that you would normally watch a movie on. After you have the VCR or DVD player working on your TV - unplug the VCR or DVD player from your TV (make sure to leave the TV tuned to the same channel). Then plug the EAZY READER into the outlet that you just unplugged the VCR or DVD player from. Now you should see the EAZY READER view on your TV screen. The EAZY READER and the EAZY READER Deluxe work on the very same channel that your VCR or DVD player works on.
Can the EAZY READER be hooked up to a PC as well as a TV?
EAZY READER Deluxe was manufactured with television sets in mind. If your computer happens to have a “video-in” socket then it will work just as with your television. Most computers do not have this though. You can plug EAZY READER Deluxe into the USB portal on your computer but you will need to purchase and adapter. We have these adapters available on our website.
What is the magnification area of the EAZY READER?
The magnification area of the EAZY READER has a 3 inch diameter. It is designed to perfectly match the width of a newspaper article. Of course you are not limited to reading just newspapers. You will need to slide the EAZY READER across the text if you are reading something with a larger width, such as a book.
The magnification area of the EAZY READER Deluxe is a few millimeters smaller than that of the original EAZY READER.
Can you magnify an entire page on the screen?
NO. You can not fit an entire page of text on the screen at one time. No matter how big the screen. A larger television or computer screen only makes the letters more magnified. It does not increase the magnification area.
How long is the cord?
There is a single cord that comes out of the top of the EAZY READER. That cord then splits into 2 cords; 1 cord is a video output cord that gets plugged into your television and the other is a power cord that gets plugged into the wall electrical outlet. The video cord is 6 feet long and the power cord is 13 feet long.
Can the length of the cords be extended?
Yes, the length of both cords can easily be extended. Cords for extension are NOT included, but can be picked up at any electronics store.

As will all electronics it is not recommended to leave plugged in at all times though. There is always a possibility of a electrical short.
